Venue
Our outdoor weddings take place on our South Lawn. This grassy area has access to roughly 3 acres of lawn along with an open-air shelter. Plus, the South Lawn features a 2,400 square foot tent which can be used without walls when the weather is pleasant,
or with walls when the conditions require them.
Our wedding location has easy access to bathrooms, complimentary parking and electricity.

Location
OUTDOOR WEDDING VENUE: The tent and outdoor wedding venue is located at the south end of our property. It has easy access to parking, two large grassy areas and an existing open-air pavilion.
WILD MOUNTAIN LOCATION: Wild Mountain is located 7 miles from beautiful Taylors Falls, MN. Our property is located on quiet Hwy. 16 with views of the rolling hills and the St. Croix River from the summit. Wild Mountain is a one-hour drive north of the Twin Cities, with nearby access to lodging and services in Taylors Falls, Chisago City/Lindstrom and St. Croix Falls, WI.

Adventure
Most our weddings take place in the evenings when our day time activities are closed. But, for brides who want their guests to experience a bit of adventure, Wild Mountain has alpine slides, scenic lift rides, go-karts, the FreeFall XP and waterpark.

Although Wild Mountain does not have lodging on-site, there are numerous options located in close proximity. Hotels, motels, B&B and waterfront cabins are located within 10 miles of us.

We specialize in all aspects of a wedding celebration: rehearsal dinners, after wedding brunches/gift openings, bridal showers, wedding ceremonies, and receptions. Room rental fees include the occupancy for up to eight hours, security, serving staff, bartenders and room set up.
From your initial interest in Wild Mountain to the final minute of your special day, our specialized event staff will be there to assist you. Our job is to make sure you experience the wedding of your dreams. We pride ourselves on giving couples the best wedding day possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wild Mountain Events & Catering reserves the right to provide all food and beverage service within our licensed banquet and public areas. In accordance with Minnesota state and local laws, we cannot allow the importing of alcoholic beverages into our function rooms, public areas, restaurants or lounge areas. Because of the location of the resort, some items may be substituted due to product availability. Special dietary restrictions can be accommodated. The guarantee on the final head count is due fourteen days prior to the event. The final guarantee will determine your final costs regardless of any number of no-shows. Any extra meals or services will be billed accordingly. Menu pricing is guaranteed at the time the Wild Mountain Banquet Event Order is signed by the guest and the Events Coordinator. To secure your date, we require a $2,000.00 non-refundable deposit at time of booking. Final bill is due 2 weeks prior to day of event unless other arrangements have been made. For all events we do require a credit card on file. For details on venues, availability and prices please send us an Charges include 6.875% sales tax, 20% gratuity, food and beverage fees, audio and visual equipment and any banquet-equipment rentals. Wild Mountain Events & Catering will not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the venues prior to, during, or following an event. The guest assumes responsibility for any and all damages incurred. When special security services must be arranged, there will be an additional cost to the client. Complimentary self-parking is available for your guests. Wild Mountain has limited audio/visual capability. If there are requirements for your event, please speak with your wedding coordinator to arrange these services.
