Spring vibes, terrain park broth erhood and smoky bar-b-que is coming to the slopes of Wild Mountain on Satu rday, April 6. We’ve teamed up with Red Bull to host a sunny big air comp f or midwestern rippers.
The competition is open to ages 14 and older with divisions for both men a nd women, and ski and snowboard. And, we are throwing down a chest of pirat e booty totaling $4000 in cash. We’ll split it evening between divisions to keep the Aloha vibes rollin’.
The plan is to have one immaculate kicker on Main Stage for ya to throw your biggest tricks – with rope tow access too. And, we’ll be creatin g an island setting with greenery, palms and maybe a water feature if Ma Na ture allows. Zinc oxide, straw hats and coconut bikinis encouraged!< /p>
The price is just $10 if you plan to ride. Spectators are free. (just walk up the hill) The food and dri nk are compliments of Wild Mountain and Red Bull. The mountain will be clos ed except for Main Stage, so registration is the only thing needed to parti cipate (no season passes or day ticket required)
Wanna ride but not in the event? No problem. We plan to have a small jib park for people to hike during the event. Then, th e entire park will be open to the public (including the rope tow) until 3pm . The price of that ticket is just $5!
